If you have traveled to Hawaii and wish to rent with us, we kindly ask that you allow up to 24 hours from the time of inquiry for us to clear you with Hawaii authorities, if this is deemed necessary, before we can secure your booking.

Until July 31, 2020 unless this date is extended by Governor Ige, in compliance with our Governor David Y. Ige’s COVID Proclamations and our County of Hawaii Mayor Harry Kim’s COVID Rules, prior to securing and confirming your vacation rental, Island Beach Rentals MAY need to confirm and clear all out-of-state guests regarding a mandatory 14-day quarantine in effect for all out-of-state guests arriving to Hawaii.

Your safety and health is of highest priority to all of us here at Island Beach Rentals. Our company has implemented expanded cleaning protocols with our cleaning teams to follow recommended CDC guidelines and instructed our cleaners to be even more thorough with their cleaning and disinfecting measures. This includes but is not limited to thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols for all high touch household common areas (including, but not limited to, remote controls, door knobs, keypads, etc.) as well as surfaces throughout each residence especially in the bathrooms and kitchens.

My place is close to the largest white sand beach on the Island…Hapuna Beach!. You’ll love the privacy, the yard, the deck and the fantastic diving and snorkeling across the street. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

This spacious Puako home welcomes you into its tropical and sunny interior with plenty of room for after beach relaxing and group dinners.  The back lanai overlooking the private back yard is a perfect place for sunrise coffees and tropical sundowners. Fill your days with diving and snorkeling across the street, riding waves on two beautiful white sand beaches less than two miles away, and dining out in the numerous restaurants in the three different resorts all within a few minutes drive.

GREAT LOCATION

Puako Beach

Puako (Pu-ah-ko) is the only small, quaint oceanfront community on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. It is located about 30 miles north of Kailua-Kona and 22 miles north of the Kona airport. The island’s largest white sand beach, Hapuna, is right next door.

Puako is conveniently located for enjoying all the resort hotels and restaurants on the Kohala Coast. The Mauna Kea, the Fairmont Orchid, the Mauna Lani and Hilton Hotels are just minutes away with their beaches, fine dining, shopping and world class golf courses. Kohala Divers and Ocean Sports is nearby at Kawaihae Center, and offers various ocean activities including scuba diving and sunset/afternoon sails. Kawaihae Center and Harbor are just 10 minutes by car, with several great restaurants and shops. You are close to almost any activity you may desire, with the exception of viewing the volcano which is a 3 hour drive.
