May you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy during this challenging time. In compliance with our County of Hawaii Mayor Harry Kim’s “COVID-19 Emergency Rule No. 1”, published on April 10, 2020 and subsequent State of Hawaii Governor David Ige’s proclamations, Island Beach Rentals will not be offering any short term vacation rental accommodations to guests “effective April 13, 2020 at 12:01am through the present emergency caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic”. It is our understanding that the Governor’s (current) 8th proclamation will remain in effect until 11:59pm on June 30th.

If you have any questions about a future potential booking or questions about a future booking you have already made, we welcome hearing from you and are available to assist you further.

Additionally, we assure you that our company has implemented expanded cleaning protocols with our cleaning teams to follow recommended CDC guidelines. We have instructed our cleaners to be even more thorough with their cleaning and disinfecting measures. This includes but is not limited to thorough cleaning and sanitizing protocols for all high touch household common areas (including, but not limited to, remote controls, door knobs, keypads, etc.) as well as surfaces throughout each residence especially in the bathrooms and kitchens.

My place is close to the largest white sand beach on the Island…Hapuna Beach!. You’ll love the privacy, the yard, the deck and the fantastic diving and snorkeling across the street. My place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups.

Fill your days with diving and snorkeling across the street, riding waves on two beautiful white sand beaches less than two miles away, and dining out in the numerous restaurants in the three different resorts all within a few minutes drive.

GREAT LOCATION

Puako Beach

Puako (Pu-ah-ko) is the only small, quaint oceanfront community on the Kohala Coast of the Big Island. It is located about 30 miles north of Kailua-Kona and 22 miles north of the Kona airport. The island’s largest white sand beach, Hapuna, is right next door.

Puako is conveniently located for enjoying all the resort hotels and restaurants on the Kohala Coast. The Mauna Kea, the Fairmont Orchid, the Mauna Lani and Hilton Hotels are just minutes away with their beaches, fine dining, shopping and world class golf courses. Kohala Divers and Ocean Sports is nearby at Kawaihae Center, and offers various ocean activities including scuba diving and sunset/afternoon sails. Kawaihae Center and Harbor are just 10 minutes by car, with several great restaurants and shops. You are close to almost any activity you may desire, with the exception of viewing the volcano which is a 3 hour drive.
