"Lalamilo Beach Bungalow" has been a labor of love for the Owners, who have taken a personal interest in the remodeling of this ocean front home. Newly renovated and furnished for your vacation in Paradise!

Beautiful hardwood floors and Ohia (a native Hawaiian wood) counter tops in the kitchen add to the charm and ambiance. The house evokes Old Hawaii with a simple, open architecture that invites ocean breezes and moonlit nights. The owners once accessed the house by san pan (there were no roads to the house) and vacationed with only family, ocean and sun for company.

This 3 bedroom oceanfront cottage is nestled on a hillside located on beautiful Wailea Bay, one of the Big Island's few white sandy beaches.

If you are looking for an authentic Hawaiian experience and simple beach living, this house is for you, yet the most luxurious resorts on the Kohala Gold Coast are just a few minutes away for fine dining, golf, tennis and spa facilities, if you want that too.

The close proximity of the house to the water make this an ideal spot to snorkel, swim, sunbathe, dive as well as watching the whales playing out front. You can see the children make sand castles from the kitchen.

Fully furnished for three couples or a family, it can sleep 6 adults, plus 2 children on the two large punees in the living room. Two of the bedrooms can be either king beds or two twin beds and all three bedrooms have ocean views. There is a wash room with a shower, washer and dryer just off the beach.  A charming Hale Li'i (outhouse) is used for toilet facilities on a short foot path next to the house.

It is also the ideal romantic getaway for a couple seeking seclusion and renewal. Let the ocean sounds lull you to sleep then wake up and step outside as the Pacific Ocean awaits you for another beautiful day in Paradise.

Happy New Year! And we started ours off in a little piece of paradise, sitting on the cove in front of the Lalamillo bungalow, watching fireworks from the neighboring resorts. The beach was all ours, as it was every evening and morning for 10 glorious days of family holiday.

The combination of Lalamillo House and Bungalow for our family of 13, ages 12 to 80, was simply perfect. Everything about the houses was beyond any expectation. Orderly, clean, comfortable, well stocked, inviting in a Hawaiian lifestyle, and so beautifully adorned with fresh orchid plants and welcoming boxes of mac nuts. Your energy upon arriving, and welcoming smiles and assistance for every little need and detail, was the best part of it all.

Each of us found a favorite spot to read, both on the beach in the shade or on one of the lainai; each of us found our favorite spot whether it was kayaking, beach walking on Hapuna, whale watching out of Puako, hanging in the General store to listen to whale songs, or toodling up the road to visit old Hawaiian spiritual sites, Hawi and the Polulu Valley.

Most of all, our little cove was the most special place on the island. We loved the openess of the houses, the green lawns, the fabulous outdoor showers, and Hawaiian hospitality.

We would all come back in a heartbeat, and have recommended Aloha Debbie Properties to scads of friends already. Thinking back, it must have been fate that I found you randomly on the internet. You tailored and met our holiday needs way beyond any expectations!!!! It's hard to put 'paradise' into words, but your two spots on beach 69 are just that!
